. This memorandum is for information only.
2. 1 talked with Mr. Macomber of State about the coming
sessions with Senator Lyndon Johnson and Mr. Kilday's Subcom-
mittse on the plane episode. He thought both were desirable but
outside of our Subcommittees he felt State would want to resist
any further committee hearings on the matter. He hoped we
could hold the line in this regard.
