Called Mr. Pforzheimer about the _apers. Also mentioned that the Director might be interested in the special foot lockers which contain them. Meeting with Mr. Pat Coyne, NSC, and Mr. Houston in regard to the various 0 devices. A document has been prepared and signed by the Department of Justice warning0 that his device is top secret. This document should also be signed by the DCI, shown to by us, and his signature affixed. Talked to Colonel Edwards about memoranda for the record which we have in relation to talks with Mr. Wisner called in regard to Admiral F'echtler's briefing. If the DCI does not call Admiral Johnson, Johnson will call the DCI. Talked to Mr. Saunders in regard to projects. A ORR Project for research work has been returned for further stu and detail. Talked to lof PSB in regard to intelligence support. OIC is making a study and I will have a memorandum by tomorrow morning. Meeting with) lof OPC in regard to procedures for project review. He has left me a long memorandum on the subject. Mr. Kirkpatrick called, about promotions for Talked to Dr. Millikan about the possibility of sending Jack for a short period to give economic advice and discuss economic requirements for ORR.
