Talked to ONE about reply to the Lovett
letter. They sent a memorandum up which I showed to
the DCI and then dispatched by hand to Mr. Lovett.
Arranged for a special IAC Meeting on Monday
at 10:30 to discuss SIE No. 3.
Colonel Lampkin of General Bolling's office
called to say that he heard we were interviewing
a major in reserve. was
one of General Bolling's company commanders in World
War II and General Bolling thinks very highly of him.
Passed this information to personnel.
