Noted his concern about the situation in Finland 25X1
he possibility of a Communist take-over. He said his opinion of the
U. S. problem with Finland was largely in the trade field, i. e., purchase
of Finnish goods. He also stated that information being furnished by the
Agency to the Business A.dvisory Council should point up this trade problem.

b) Recommended that General Pitcher, new Director of the Joint Staff,
be invited to CIA. for a briefing, to be preceded by a luncheon. The Director
approved.
Reported that there is a memorandum on its way to the Secretary of
State setting forth views as to what should be done about
Raised the question of intelligence support during the Summit Meeting
and suggested that together with a Soviet expert, handle this for
CIA. The Director approved. noted his concurrence and corn -
mented that DD/P would in all probability have about four PP experts whc~
would be working with
