Mr, Dulles:

and Helms stated they knew nothing about the matter and Mr.
Helms undertook to determine whether 0 had received 25X1
approval to write and publish the article in question in
accordance with CIA Regulations.
b. Stated the notes furnished byl or his 25X1
use at the NSC Meeting on 22 October had been prepared in nine
copies, and noted his concern over the number of copies made
of sensitive documents, The Director said wherever possible
we should limit preparation of such documents to only one copy.

Mr, Amory:
Referred to 9 ,recent article in the NEW YORK TIMES respecting
the "Soviet Encyclopedia" and expressed the opinion that the
deletions and additions to this publication could be of con-
siderable use in our psychological warfare program, Mr. Amory
said a case in point was the deletion of Beria s name and the
substitution of an inconsequential item, Mr. Wisner undertook
to bring this to the attention of
Mr. Wisner:
Briefly reported on his discussion with representatives
of the Department respecting the agreement with 25X1
Mr. Wisner noted his intention n
