PRESENT: Messrs. Dulles, Wisner (part of Meeting), Amory,
Colonel White, Messrs. Kirkpatrick, Helms, 25X1
Mr. Dulles:
as Asked Mr. Helms to determine whether the Czechoslovakian
weapons used by the "other side" in a recent activity proved
to be any good,
b. Briefly discussed a project which has been proposed
by Congressman Kersten and stated that: (1) he intended to put
this matter before the OCB for decision; (2) if approved it wou`d
be handled as an additional pro ram of FEC and their bud et

the intelligence community in the Department of Defense (which
was informally handed to the Director by Erskine) and after
some discussion it was agreed that CIA would make no comment
unless officially requested to do so.
Mr. Helms:
Recommended in view of the Director's comment that field
stations he visited in Europe were not au courant with the
Career Service Program, that visit some of the
principal missions in this area and bring them up-to-date.
The Director approved and also asked Mr. Wisner to discuss
this program during his forthcoming visit to our Far Eastern
stations.
