PRESENT: Mr. Dulles, General Cabell, Messrs. Wisner, Amory, Colonel
White, Messrs. Kirkpatrick, Helms, Sheldon and
a. Agreed to have a dinner for I and stated that he
would: (1) prefer that it be held on Thursday, 1 October; (2) leave
the decision to Mr. Helms as to whether this dinner should be "a Large
or small one". (NOTE: Mr. 0 will reserve the Alibi Club for
1 October and contact Mr. Helms for the final guest list.)
c. Referred to the recent defection in Korea of the Polish
Interpreter, and stated that since this individual had arrived in Korea
via the Trans-Siberian Railroad,

a. Reported that Alexis Johnson, in a conversation with DISCI and
DD/P, had expressed concern over current reports of continuing support
to and had requested CIA to double its efforts in attempting to
determine the facts in this matter. (NOTE: DD/P is following up on this.)

Mr. Amory:
Reported that the Director's participation in Operation
had been scheduled for Sunday, 18 October, and that a draft of the
DCI's statement would be furnished for his concurrence prior to sub-
mission to the Comittee for final approval. The Director noted his
desire to use appropriate charts during his presentation.
Raised the question of the future assignment of
some discussion undertook to draft a cable to General
for the Director's approval.
