B. :Stated that he had received a re ort from General Bolling indicating there was dire need for a tc co- ordinate the activities of the defense intelli;ence agencies there. Mr. ~Tisner noted that this did not conform with recent views. The Director stated that nevertheless 1-,his matter would be brought '~eror~~ the IAC by Gen. Bolling at its next meeting and that "a good scldier or air man" would be selected to fill this job. C. Stated that in a recent conversation he had with Co7_. Bair~_9 it was indicated that in a great many instances the Assistant Direc'.ors were standing in the way of their people applying for ass~_.gnment as studa~~a to the various military schools and coh e~res at which we had been allotted slots.
