a. Referred to the item in the Log concerning the request from the
Department of Justice to investigate two individuals. DCI stated that unless
these people belong to us we would not do this. The DCI was advised that these
people did not belong to us. TOP SECRET

b. Reported on a conversation he had with

d. Stated that in going over the PSB agenda for today's meeting, the ppers
thereon appeared to him to be a cross between NSC and JCS matters. The Director
stated that this had been of considerable concern to him for some time and asked
Mr. Dulles to discuss this matter quite frankly at today's meeting.
e. Noted that 0 had circulated a portion of the JCS comments on
the Director's letter of 11 December to Mr. Lovett.
Mr. Wolf reported that he had talked to the concerning our use of
their blocked funds and it appears that there will be a number of difficulties
to be surmounted before we can make any deal with these people.

a. Raised the question of the Gray Report. The Director stated that tn.is
matter should be handled by Messrs. Dulles and Wisner in the best way they saw fit.
b. Brought to the attention of the Director a cable concerning 25X1
our liaison with he WI noted he would discuss this matter with
Gen. Bolling when he saw him today. (NOTE: Director subsequently prepared a
reply which has been cleared with Messrs. Dulles and eisner.)
