The DCI noted an unevaluated report to the effect that
an attempt would be made to assassinate Ambassador
Mr. Dulles reported that arrangements had been completed for the
employment of by CIA. Mr. Dulles had talked with

present system of coordination should be changed, the DCI planned to borrow
someone from the AEC and have him detailed to CIA. This would disassociate the
question of coordination from a tempest in a teapot raised with respect to
