Mr. Dulles showed the Director the results of
activities in breaking up a Communist rally.

Mr. Dulles reported that Col. Walsh had queried on the status
of the escape and evasion manuals.

The Director asked Mr. to survey the situation in
the agency and determine if we ha an office who could do immediate
briefing on any world condition.
The Director asked for an investigation of the letters sent
to Lt. Colonels telling them to leave their families
Mr. Dulles reported that he was having a conference with
Ambassador Patterson tonight.
