There is a question as to whether we should not have a permanent
membership on IIC, and Colonel Edwards' name was mentioned.
The Director stated that at some future date FBI membership in
the IAC should be reviewed.
The Director requested that the present whereabouts and status
of Colonel be determined with the idea in mind that he might
be of service to I .

Mr. Jackson reported that his survey of OPC would be fini=shed
this week, and his report submitted by next Monday. The Director would
like Mr. Jackson to continue surveying the different offices.
Mr. Jackson reported that the Latin-American Division of CPC
needed considerable strengthening.

Mr. Wolf will appear tomorrow before a sub-committee of the
House in regard to the Retired Officers Bill. The Director mentioned that
we needed retired officers as we could not compete with industry for the
required type of civilian personnel. We would, however, be glad to accept
retired officers called back to duty.
Mr. Wolf reported that he will have a meeting today with two
psychiatric experts to get a professional point of view on the polygraph,
