Mr. Dulles reported that Mr. Averell Harriman saw him late
yesterday in regard to action on our part to further the split
Mr. Dulles stated that he had received a call from
Lt. Col. John R. Deane, Jr. (Secretary Pace's Office) in regard
to a meeting to be scheduled on General McClure's recent Directive.
The following people will attend the meeting when called:
