No items were presented for the Assistant Directors meeting.
It was noted, however, that Mr. Wolf wished to discuss both the emergency
plan and the automobile situation but both of these items can he delayed
until the next meeting.
It was suggested that a demand for the Director to testify
before Congress on the MacArthur situation would probably be forth-
coming and that we should oreoare a statement for his use.

Mr. Reber asked that an early expression of the deputies views
on the Watch Committee be obtained as there Is a meeting with the Army
on the subject tomorrow.
