In retard to the current status of ,.connaiasa.nce over
Cuba. I have personally confirmed with Mr. McGeorge .Fundy,
Secretary Rusk, and Deputy Secretary Vance that there is at
present no stand-down of the reconnaissance effort.
2. I talked with Mr. Bundy oa the afternoon of 5 November
and with Messrs. Rusk and Vance on the morning of 6 ,No
3. 1 have also informed each of these officials that we are
proceeding with plans to make good on the four TACKLE missions
vvhich have for some time been approved by the :303 Committee.
All agreed to this.
