1. Deputy Chief, 0 advises that October
18th has tentatively been scheduled for the briefing of Admiral
Dennison's CINCLANT group. He is coordinating with Dick Helms
and has already coordinated with Ray Cline.

was constructed to reduce to a minimum NATO's possibilities of
using West Berlin. to undermine the economy of East Germany1l
that the Soviet government wishes to press for an early conclusion
of a German peace treaty, and that the sovereignty of East Germany

5. Hilsman Reports:
a. A lengthy paper on the Sino-Soviet Economic Offensive
