MEMORANDUM FOR: Deputy Director (Science & TTeechnology)
1. Although the Director has signed the covering letter,
please rewrite the initial part of the comments with the fol-
lowing in mind: The Director wants more said about the
Kinzol Advisory Board and he also wants to call it the Scientific
Advisory Board to the Director of Central Intelligence rather
than the Agency Scientific Advisory Board. He wants to point
out that It was created for certain purposes and to state those
purposes along the line* of Kinael's mission letter. He wants
to cover the membership by name as you have done for the
Webster Panel and he also wants to mention the I aneei 25X1
and the IIPanel and such other subpanels of the Scientific
Advisory Board as may be formed.
2. Other than the foregoing, he thinks it's a fine report.
Rewrite it in accordance with the foregoing and submit it to
me for approval prior to dispatch.
