have your letter of April 8, 1958, concerning the status
of the 1958 Federal Service Health Campaign and the Peders1 Service
joint Crusade.

As you requested, I have reviewed our progress. To date,
reports have been received covering solicitation of about 63 per cent of
our employees. Contributions to the Health Campaign have been made by
cent of the group reported, and the dollar total of approximately
represents 85 per cent of the total amount allocated to the health
programa from last year's Consolidated Campaign. Contributions have
been made to the Joint Croade to date by 48 per cent of the group reported,
and amount to approximately $5,600, which is substantially in excess of
the sum allocated to these agencies from last year's Consolidated Campaign.
I appreciate your concern for the success of these campaigns
continue to urge wholehearted participation by our employees.
