I am sorry that my recent absence from Washington has
delayed my acknowledging your letter of November 2nd, forwarding
some correspondence between you and David Rockefeller regarding
efforts within NATO to find the system to blunt the Soviet economic
offensive.
This correspondence is particularly timely from the point
of view of the BAC's Committee on World Economic Practices and
I shall bring it to the attention of Harold Boeschenstein, the Com-
mittee Chairman, who I know will be greatly interested in it. I am
sure that he will be in touch with Mr. Rockefeller directly and will
want to stay close to unfolding NATO thinking in the matter.
