As you know, the Agency recently briefed
the Inter-American Affairs Subcommittee of the
House Foreign Affairs Committee, at the sub-
committee's request. The attached unclassified
statement, "Cuban Subversion in Latin America,"
was prepared at the request of Congressman
Selden, the subcommittee chairman. I understand
that the Foreign Affairs Committee plans to
incorporate the statement in its forthcoming
report on recent hearings.
