MEMORANDUM FOR
THE DIRECTOR OF CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE
The President has approved the reorganization of the United
Board (USIB) which you and Secretary
States Intelligence
McNamara recommended in your memorandum of December 21,
1963.
Effective immediately, the president has directed that the com-
position of the USIB will be as follows
Director of Central Intelligence, Chairman
Deputy Director of Central Intelligence tlnent
Director of Intelligence and Research, i)cpar
of State
Director, Defense Intelligence Agency
Director, National Security Agency
A representative of the Atomic Energy Commission
A representative o`_ the Director of the Federal
Bureau of Investigation.
You are authorized to effect the changes in existing directives
necessary to implement this reorganization.
