National Policy Paper on Chile
1. The draft National Policy Paper on Chile has been
reviewed at various stages by the Central Intelligence Agency,
and. we are in general agreement with the intelligence judgments
on which the policy paper in based.
2. Virile I endorse those provisions in the paper which
have a bearing on U.B. intelligence I have no
convent to sake on the broader aspects of 70. . policyr toward
Chile, these being outside the competence of the Central
Intelligence Agency and the Director of Central Intelligence.

of CIA as an action component under Courses of Action #6 and
#7. and to request that these references be deleted,
