I was amazed when I saw you yesterday to learn that you
had caused all the necessary research to be done and that the
problem seemed well on the way to a satisfactory solution. I
had thought that this kind of expediting took place only in CIA;
it speaks well for the training you got here t
Most seriously, we are deeply appreciative. I telephoned
shortly after my return from your office, and
faith in humanity and particularly in the Air Force has been
stored. I cautioned her not to go shopping just yet but did
her that I thought we had every reason to be optimistic.
