Dear Admiral Lynch:
Please accept our appreciation and thanks for the
excellent briefing on the EULOC Study presented under your
supervision to this Agency on 16 September 1965 by Colonel
H. K. Hansen, USAF, assisted by Colonel J. B. Webel, USA,
and Captain G. W. Smith. USN. The presentation was most
interesting and informative. The CIA senior officers in
attendance were particularly impressed by the scope and
complexities of problems which could arise under various
situations and of the military planning to meet these con-
tingencies.
The presentation was an important contribution to CIA's
understanding of the EULOC problem. We are grateful to
you and your fellow officers for an excellent presentation.
