In late 1962, we had an exchange of correspondence
concerning who was interested in
obtaining a position in the Agency. He was a former war-
time aide of mine and also had worked for the Agency in
the Far East.
By your letter of 7 December 1962, you reported
that you had no position which would be appropriate for
