Dear Colonel Hebert:
On my visit last December to the War College we discussed
the study done on assessment by the OSS psychological staff. I told
you that I would check on the exact title and indicate where you
probably could find one. The exact title is "Assessment of Men--
Selection of Personnel for the Office of Strategic Services, " published
by Rinehart & Co. of New York. I understand, however, that this is
now out of print, although a paperback edition is currently being
contemplated. If you have any problem obtaining a copy, please let
me know and I will arrange for our library to lend one .to you.
