Dear President Kenne0y:
I was very disturbed to read in the N. Y. Times that probably the C.I.A.
has been subsidizing and is continuing to subsidize South Viet Nam's "special
forces" which are conducting raids on pagodas and rounding up protesting students.
I was equally disturbed to read a few weeks ago that the first large pagoda raid
was conducted by soldiers driving trucks with American insignia and using U.S.
weapons. Obviously we are not going to get out of the area so why don't we miigk
align ourselves with the angels for once and say that we will actively support
the first palatable opposition that comes along.
