SUBJECT: Retired Agency Employees Who Have Caused
Security Problems Through Publication
I wonder if there is any way to catalog Agency employees who in retire-
ment have caused us the most security problem through publication. Perhaps
we could rank order those who have done us the greatest damage starting with
Agee and trying to categorize why they have published classified or infor-
mation critical of the Agency. A sub-set of this would be the extent to
which any of this was engendered by reaction to Schlesinger's or my reductions
in force; reactions to Vietnam and Watergate (Stockwell and Snepp); or attempts
to settle old feuds (people who talked with Epstein). (S/NF)
