Analysis. This is a corn gable effort to explore better avenues
of cxxranni cation between producers and users of intelligence. The
problem is a familiar one to all managers of intelligence production.
Hence, the various suggestions of eye-catching and attention-grabbing
presentations are earth serious consideration. Indeed, some variants
of these forats are already either in use or under study.
'2. Having said this, we should also add that we do not perceive
a need for a follow-up effort on any of the specific items explored in
the Probler-ts 1 and 5 of the report, i.e., leadership rela-
tio p succession analysis, and transaction analysis, relate nore
or less to our mission. In neither case, however, did we find enough promise
of workable analytical techniques to justify further efforts bf STAT
