MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: HAC Access to the NIB and Weekly Review
1. Frank Schwartz, formerly FBI liaison officer Il and
now with the House Appropriations Committee Staff investigating
DIA, telephoned at 0915 hours today to request that the HAC Ptaffers
be allowed access to the National Intelligence Bulletin and the
Weekly Review in the DIA library. The HAC is interested in
developments in Vietnam, Portugal and Cyprus during 1974-1976.
2. Discussed the HAC request with Paul Walsh, who agrebd the
HAC Staffers should be permitted access to the NIB and Weekly
Survey in the DIA library, but should not be permitted to tare
them away from the Pentagon.
