SUBJECT 4 December Meeting on Time-Critical
Intelligence Response Mechanism
1. As discussed in the 4 December meeting, the Intel-
ligence Community Staff is preparing a draft briefing whic
will present:
a. A description of available Intelligence Comm nity
mechanisms responding to priority Time-Critical require-
ments;
b,. Data on the. r.espons~vene.s.s of these .mechanis. s.;.,
grid
c. Currently available communications.
As a result of the 4 December meeting the following organi
zations were asked to coordinate the preliminary material
for preparation of the briefing and to provide it to the
Intelligence Community Staff by the end of the first week
January:
a. SIGINT Committee -- SIGINT systems and SIGINT
Time-Critical mechanisms
b. COMIREX -- Imagery systems (overhead and air
borne) ; 1
c ASD (I) -
d. State -- Foreign service reporting; and

2. The Intelligence Community Staff will contact each

The next meeting of representatives of the above groups will
be scheduled tentatively for the second week in January.
The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the draft
briefing.
