It would be greatly appreciated if you
could make available to the White House on a
non-reimbursable detail,
from your Office of Economic Research.
Dr. Edward Allen of your staff, and Deane
Hinton of my staff, talked about this and are
agreed I Imight come over on a trial
basis on or about May 1. If, after sixty days
all concerned are satisfied with the arrangement,
we would contemplate extending his TDY assignment
for up to two years.
