CONFERENCE, scheduled for October 12- 15, 19'12, at Airlie House, near
Warrenton, Virginia. Attached is general. conference information.
Strategy for Peace Conferences, concentrating on U. S. foreign policy, have
continued because discussions have focused on current topical international
issues of the day. The informal, off-the-record conversations have provoked
thought,, research and study toward a more enlightened foreign policy.
We expect 120 participants, including graduate students, young professionals,
government officials, businessmen, and acadex-nicians. Prompt submission
of the attached reservation request card is strongly iecornmended due to
limited conference facilities.
We anticipate stimulating and productive discussions and deeply hope you will
be able to participate. Should you be unable to attend, we welcome alternative
participant suggestions. There will be free chartered round trip bus service
from Washington, D. C. , to Airlie House.
