During the first week of May, PROJECT UPDATE will send fifteen Princeton
students to Wahington for a series of seminars on current issues of national
concern. Annually sponsored by Whig-Clio, this Program has proven to be a
rare opportunity for Society members to meet with policy makers in government,
business, journalism, and the military.
We have found that an undertaking like PROJECT UPDATE is an invaluable
part of our education, for it provides the type of first-hand knowledge and
insight that is often lacking in the academic environment. As Director of the
Central Inteeligence Agency, your participation in this program would par-
ticularly be of value and would lend to makinga>ftr~visit a most successful
venture.
Should you decide to take part in PROJECT UPDATE, we will make every
effort to adapt our schedule to yours. The group will be in Washington from
Monday, May 7, through Thursday, May 10. The seminar, which can last from
thirty minutes to an hour, could be conducted at virtually any time and place
that would be convenient for you.
