tion project ana its potential for use zn CHIVE: at ORD's
request. A planning technique for identifying areas of
CII:EVE research and development interest and a functional
model to be used in this process were described in a draft
working paper.

September 12 is the scheduled completion date for
the Location Dictionary.
The completion date for the Organization Dictionary
has been rescheduled for 1 December. The preliminary
transcription on the UE, BR, and SR files has been com-
pleted, and the Document Division cards are being refor-
matted for merger with the other files. The Task Team
has begun to fill out the transcript sheets for the final
dictionary entries.
A study of management data collected by and about
the Intellofax System was completed during the month by
Members of the China Task Force's "Subcommittee on
Interface with CIiIVL" were briefed on Task Force develop-
ments during the month.
o Program Design
Acceptance testinc; of the Page Reader is scheduled
for completion durinc, the week of 19 September.
The File Maintenance 'ask Team has completed flow
charting of the Translation, Deletion, and Interrogation
Modules.
The Control Task Tear has completed the conversion
of the initial SKAj1 Ba,ic operating System to Operating
Systems (OS)/36U. '.they have i.eru)i ti ,e synte_?: integration
effort.
