Initial Screening: files considered for retirement are initially screened to a.scortein whether dossiers are present (or accounted. for) and are in proper numerical sequence. Case Of'icers who have placed restrictive limita:tion5 on dossiers, i.e., dossiers bearing markings "1)0 NOT 1,1ICRO21L11`", are contacted to determine whether limitations may be removed. Screening: (1) .Contents of dossiers are arranged. in chronological, order witn the earliest document on the bottom; however, documents constituting one trans- action are not separated.
