Revision of DCID No. 1/9-, Biographic Intelligence
1., Attached for the record and internal coordination as appropriate are
additional copies of the two draft revisions of DCID 1/9 to be distributed at
the CODIB meeting on 13 July 1961 . Draft A is essentially the same as the
original version,. slanted mainly toward maintenance of biographic data, but
with footnotes added on biographic data collection and counterintelligence
responsibilities, Draft B is worded to emphasize production as well as
maintenance of biographic information and to stipulate collection responsi-
bilities In the body of the text.
2. Subsequent action will depend on the outcome of discussions at the
13 July meeting
