INTELLIGENCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
COMMITTEE ON DOCUMENTATION
CODIAC Pimstram in Fy1.2.
The overall Objective of this program is to create a climate within
the intelligence community which will be conducive to energetic Committee
action both in identifying important information processing eroblemseand
in seeking their_eolution.
1. General documentation policy
a. Coordinete at the working level, on behalf of the LAC/ necessary
,
DCIO's relevant to CODIAC responsibilities.
b. Establish effective means of cooperating with non-IAC agencieo
in aolving documentation peoblems.
Develep a program designed to elicit inetitutional support
(industry, universities, foundations).
2. Automation and systems coapatibility
a. Establish mmans of keeping abreast of developments in fields of
autemat.tme and develop capabilities for getting expert adeice to
OODIAC on equipment, and the significance of R & D eforta underway.
b. Develop criteria for determining degree of competibility betweeu
systems, including the identification of situations between which
compatibility in mandatory, desireble or unnecessaryu
a. tablish a procedure for assuring that CODIAC will be frxnished
timely informetion on eroposed studies, plena and projects ehich
relate to the processiee of intelligence information.
