Attached hereto is a copy of a letter sent to General Smith
early in the year with regard to establishing an alert network for
the purpose of informing all interested Departments and Agencies
with regard to the ultimate implementation of the two PSB plans
concerning the Korean situation.
In the light of recent changes of personnel, the contact point
for the JCS is now Brig. General Jesmond Balmer, Chief of the Joint
Subsidiary Plans Division.
Since) I has left your Agency, unless I hear from
you to the contrary I will assume that you will now replace him as
the point of contact within your Agency for the purpose of notification.
