SUBJECT: Unified Information Program for the Far East
As'a result of the consideration by the Board Assistants of
draft plan D-44, Intensified Use of Formosa Facilities for Psycho-
logical Operations,, the following is presented for the- consideration
of the Board at its meeting on October 2$, 1953+
The Board Assistants and OCB Staff recommend that:
The Operations Coordinating Board approve in principle
the concept that foreign information program s
be developed for the Far Eas t` ----_.coordinated 25X1 C
The OCB agree in principle to the inclusion of -
facilities and assets in this program.
The specific operational plan (D*44) be referred to a
Working Group for further staff consideration and
development in greater detail prior to approval by the
Board*
field study and coordination,
The chairman for the Working Group be the CIA representative.
