(Confidential - DFM) LIAISON Received a call from Hal Ford, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff, who informed me he would be at Headquarters tomorrow to finish his review of Vietnam cables regarding the evacuation of Kontum and Pleiku Provinces in 1975. I informed Ford we had no information on an American missing in the Pacific in an Air Force plane crash, but recently reportedly seen in China. I suggested Ford contact DIA and gave him the phone number. Ford agreed to do so. 8. (Confidential - DFM) LIAISON Talked with Tom Crowley, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff, regarding a number of planned meetings. We agreed to 29 November at 10:00 a.m. for a meeting on the Hill regarding terrorism in response to Chairman Birch Bayh's (D., Ind.) letter of 19 October. STAT 9. (Unclassified - DFM) LIAISON Talked with Ted Ralston, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff, regarding tomorrow's visit to NPIC. Ralston informed me Bill Miller, Committee Staff Director, Earl Eisenhower, Steve Flanagan, both of the Committee staff, and himself would attend. 10. (Unclassified - HMS) LIAISON Received a call from Judy Frazier, Congressional Research Service, Library of Congress, who requested the number of the "Polar Regions Atlas" so she could request copies from DOCEX. Bauman (R., Md.), a copy of "Directory of the Cuban Government and Mass Organizations."
