Brush Recorder where the chart on the Brush paper ie xiot
necessary.

on 19 Deee er 1957, Chief,, OL stated:
"The Brush Paper Chat referred to in this su o tion is
carried in stock under Allocation 22, and the in nr;e .
control by the (Tice of C icationsti. All Inquiries
nsde by the Supply Division relative to the use of adding
whine tape,' as a substitute, have brought net; Ltive
results, i.e., that the adding; .chine paper ce?a not
be used as a substitute for this ash Chart."
on 28 January 1958, Acting Chief, Supplemental Pro , ? as Diviston,
Office of C zicationns stated:
"...The cost of the adding machine paper is per roll
ed to a cost of $2.50 per roll of the ash Chart
paper.
"Thy. office involved has used a total of 200 ro of the
Lang whine paper in place of the more expensive paper
over the period of the last three months (October through
December 1957).
This use alone represents a cash savings of more tAen
50. This saw office anticipates a continuing need for
a i .tely rolls of paper for the next one year
period. The use of the adding machine paper will result
in a saving of a i? te1y .

the Division. One of these Brmches that hae a continuing
need for Brush ink recording has exlwesse& interest In the
suggestion.
"Perhaps other departments of the Goverment might utilize
this suggestion if they could be made aware of it."
