The demonstratio? was carried out under the supsr- vision of Dr. Ernst Quyenot, a i6eirr apeoiaiist in eleotroes oicroroopy. However, the demonstration war rather unsatiat'aotory to ProfAaror Aoehrer, who felt that on the heels of the demoaetrintion he would prefar.to aoquire~the instrument for his institute. Ais main objection to the Zeiss instrument wasps t~aot that 25X1 the miorosoopio picture moved too much during observation. It is felt that per- haps this unfavorable impression was caused by inexpert demonstration gather than by a basic defect in the instrument itself?
