Between 1115 and 1500 on 16 August, 45 MiG?15s and 2 green painted Li-2s were counted at Wiener Neustadt airfield. There was a 3/10 to 6/10 iovereast, northerly wind of about 18 ksi/a, 24 degrees centigrades, and good visibility. At 1125, a Li-2 coming from a northerly direction landed at the field. No other air activity was observed. 2. The eastern portion and a part of the southern edge of the airfield were evacuated. The tests previously observed were removed. The ground radio station which had previously been seen in a groove outside the border at the southern side of the airfield was dismantled.
