Between 0800 and 123C on 24 July 1955, 46 :11G-15s were counted Pt Wiener
Neu;stndt airfield, There was a 2/10 overcast at bout 1,500 meters, sunny,
westerly wind of bout 5 }m/h, and good visibility.
T ho :x-rkin,` place at the eastern edge of the field was not used. Supports,
ladders z-nd wooden huts were torn -clown. The rircrr ft which were parked
so irr et this place were Fpparently trFnsferred to the southern portion
of the field. The n.rnber of ircr.-ft observed z~ t the scuthern portion
was incre, sed .
Four "iG_l5s which were . -)parently ready for take-off were narked ecst
of the northern end of the runway. The uoper sections of the rudder units
were pointed with yellow color?
The A: run erplr cement at the eastern ed,;e of the field was unoccupied
whi's tenta and trucks were still evilable.
The At run er olrcement at the southern ed -e of the field was evr cuated.
