1/2 July. 36 flatcars with a load of 1,000 ons whic+xceeded standard

1.I Comment. The shipments probably consisted of T-54 tanks. The shipment
flatoars. The receiving
station mentioned indicates that the shipment was consigned. to the 220th Hv
Tank SP Regt of the Eighth Gds Army stationed there. Provided that T-54 tanks
were actually shipped which was inferred fro* the fact that the load ezoeeded
standard measurements, this would be the first case that a rifle army was
supplied with new type tanks. The shipment on 30 June was consigned to the 9th
Gds Tank Div, The shipment on 1 July was consigned to the 9th Tank Div. 25X1
on 27 June is possibly identical with a shipment reported previously with 2"25X1
1954?
Comment. Probably ponton parts and/or floating cranes from the Neptun
s pyArd to then. Similar shiuments had already been reported in December
