lo. Between.0900 and 1315 on 25 May 1955,, 27 MiG'i5ev 1 Yak,-l1o and 1 biplane were
observed at Parnderf airfield:, There ,sae a Ot"i0 overcast, temporarily a southerly
wind of about 5 km/hy a temperature *f 2( to 26 degrees, and clear visibility,, No
air activity was:conduetedo During the entire period of observation, the sound of
aircraft engines was heard from the. direction of the Leitha Mountains, All of the
aircraft were parked south of the taxiway with their noses pointing to the north,
]ixcept for the two easternmost MiG-15e, all aircraft were covered with tarpaulins
One of the ViG-15s which was parked at the western end of the dispersal area next
to a wooden barracks,?about 5 x-10 meters, had its tail unit disassembled., The
power plant could be seen in the aperture of the fusela?;e,; Another MiG415 with
disassembled wings was propped up on an unidentified block farther west between
two wooden barracks, each about 4 x 6 meters,
2a motor vehicles were parked in the open near the: lean-to roofs in 25X1
the southwestern corner of the field:

onto Parndorf airfield is still occupied by a Soviet fighter regiment 25X1
equipped with MiG.15sQ
