Between 0800 and 1500 on 29 April 1955, a total of 49 MiG-15s, 2 Yak-1189 and 1 biplane were observed at Wiener Neustadt airfield. Weather was 4/10 25X1 overcast, ceiling at an altitude of about 2,000 meters, northeasterly wild of about 10 km/h, visibility good. About 1000, MiG-15s began practicing take-offs and landigs from satthweat to northeast according to the following schedule: Landing at 1001 1021 1003 1028 1004 1029 1005 1030 1066 1031 1007 1133 1038 1101 1039 1103 1042 1109 1045 1112 1131 1152 1135 1205 1136 1206 1140 1211 1212 1145 1213 1150 1222 After landing, all planes taxied back to the take-off 1223 point under their own power. The strip used for take-offs and landings had the width ut eight MiG wing-spans and was marked b white flags. 1 Truck sedan and van-like truck were seen at the flight control station. The garage and the easterly lean-to roofs were guarded. Four trucks, 1 headquarters bus and two model Stalin tractors were seen under these roofs. Ambulance were parked in the open. The south ALL emplacement was unoccupied. A van-like truck was fitted with a Kniferest antenna which moved very slowly during air activity. The eastern emplacement was also unoccupied. The noise of a rmnning jet engine was heard from the shed in this repair point. 2. One M - -2, 10 gray crates measuring 200 x 70 x 70 cm, and truck ere observed in front of the repair shop at Theresien- 25X1 fold. No changes were noticed at the billets at Theresienfeid. 3. The Artillerie Kaserne at Wiener Neustadt was guarded. About 60 men practiced marching in review under the supervision of five officers in the 25X1 barracks yard. Motor vehicles observed operating included: Truoko van-like trucks an am LI- anoe The cantonment west of Wiener Neus was also guarded. A total of 24 trucks, 2 van-like trucks, 12 x 37-mm AL guns, and 6 model 2 PU-i light AA guns were seen in the area. C ent.
