Parndorf airfield. It snowed until about 1015. Subsequiuntly,, the v.:ath., snip, roved
to a 5/10 overcast at an altitude of about 1,000 meters and grog t.s.) -r.:~..:1 to the

was observ ed ? During and after the snowfall., the snow was removed rrotn thk-: runway
strip Some of the snowplows were towed by Stalin-type tractors and otlit,rs by
trucks. About 30 men equipped with shovels cleared the sngw,near the;ic rracks"
About 60 men marched in a group from the direction of the barracks to the building
housing the kitchen and messhall; The AA gun emplacements were gtia_rded by sentries
and occupied by 6 x 37--um AA guns covered with tarpaulins

sets which did not rotate were guarded by sentries,.

a driver wearing blacl!-bordered blue epaulets was parked in front of the build ngo
