REMARKS
1. At 1140 an 13 &M g= 19552 several MiG-15s or U-MiG-15s crossed over Zerbst at an
altitude of about 800 meters. Between 1200 and 1250, 10 NAG-15s or U-MiG-15s took
off individually and in elements of two from Zerbat airfield. Formation flights were
observed at an altitude of about 3 000 meters, At about 13000 3 M&G-?15s or U..MjG.,15s
crossed ever the field at low level, heading northeast, then made a steep balk to the
left and landed in rapid succession toward the northeast. Two MG-15s or U-MiG-15s
simultaneously took off at 1420 and 1425. The two elements immediately climbed to an
altitude of,about 3,500 motors and made air attack exercises in the vicinity of the
field. Two aircraft had the Nee 102 and 103. At 1445, 3 MIG-15e or U.-MiG.l5s
individually took off at intervals of 4 minutes. The aircraft headed north. Air
activity was not discontinued although visibility deteriorated temporarily because of
a snowstorm. At about 15100 2 MiG>15s or U-MG>15s individually took off. The two
elements which had taken off at 1420 and 1425 landed in rapid succession at 1517
after crossing the field at low level. After 1605, 5 MiG-15s or U.?MiG-15s landed
individually, taxied to the flight control station and then to the northeastern seotiem
of the taxiway. No additional air activity was observed.
2. The Kniferest-type refuel set which was still located in the piece of wood about 1 kr
southwest of the runwayI end was in operation during and after air activity. The set
rotated regularly in a, counter-clockwise direction. Each rotation took 9 seconds,
which was repeatedly checked by a stopwatch. No other radar sets were seen at the
field.

division headquarters, 1 fighter regiment and 1 reconnaissance regiment. The air
activity an 13 January 1955 indicates that the flying pere9nnel had reaachec25X1
